talks Now Open Source

When I first started blogging, I originally went with a blog account on Blogger.com. But, there were too many open source projects that I wanted to play with, so I created talks. Here are some things I use (from the README):

• Syntax highlighting with Ultraviolet
• 960 Grid System
• Textile for post styling
• jQuery/jQueryUI
• Less CSS

It’s built on Rails with MySQL backing it up. It runs on the smallest instance on Amazon EC2 with nightly backups to S3.
